Nail surgery is performed to effectively treat an ingrown toe nail. If your ingrown nail is a chronic problem, painful, inhibits your work, sporting or other activities; if you are unable to wear shoes, the best treatment option may be NAIL SURGERY.
A partial nail avulsion (PNA) procedure aims to permanently remove the offending nail border. The PNA is performed in our rooms and takes about an hour. Interference with daily activities is generally minimal. The most common side effects are post operative infection. The risk of infection can be minimised with thorough post operative care. We give you instructions for care and will keep you under review to ensure you are progressing well.
